Our congregation is stronger and our community is thriving because of your financial support. TBZ provides meaningful and lovely Shabbat services, joy-filled holidays and celebrations, inspiring classes, engaging Beit Rabban (after-school education) and family programs, impactful tikkun olam (healing the world) initiatives, mindful meditations, dedicated staff, and magnificent rabbis who are committed to living, loving, and learning Torah, and to helping us deepen our engagement with each other and the world.

Our annual membership dues cover only 56% of our expenses. We need your generosity in order to meet our day-to-day expenses and sustain our dedication to the ideal that no one will be turned away due to financial circumstances.

Donations provide for our day-to-day operations in support of our mission of being an independent, inclusive Jewish congregation whose members of all ages are committed to each other, to joyful participatory worship, to meaningful Jewish learning, spiritual growth, and acts of social justice.

Please make a gift that is personally meaningful to you. No gift is too large or too small; each dollar helps us meet our annual fundraising goal.

TBZ only exists because of the spirit, commitment, and generosity of people like you. We are grateful for your financial support. Thank you for helping us continue to grow and be a Jewish community for us all.

Many opportunities for gifts to TBZ exist throughout the year:

Annual High Holiday Appeal: TBZ’s annual fundraiser and main source of support for 15% of our annual operating costs. Your year-end donation is greatly appreciated and will count towards our appeal unless otherwise indicated by you.

Spring Fundraiser: Annual celebration of our community.

Kiddush/Oneg Gifts: Sponsor a kiddush or oneg (food after Shabbat morning or Friday evening services) for the congregation in recognition of a special event in your life.

Honor and Celebration Gifts: Mark a birthday, anniversary, other milestone event, or the special contribution of a friend or colleague by making a donation in their name. We’ll send them an acknowledgement of your gift.

Yahrzeit and Remembrance Gifts: Honor the memory of a loved one by making a donation on their yahrzeit (anniversary of death).

Legacy Giving: Making a gift to TBZ in a will, an IRA, or a Donor-Advised Fund, as a Beneficiary or with Appreciated Stock. Please contact our executive director, Benjamin Maron, to discuss the details.
